Quality: NOBLE
To be noble is to be outstanding. The best and excellent, all of which make up the “Inside Stuff” that is necessary for greatness.
To be noble is to possess outstanding qualities. Qualities of superior nature, especially in character. A noble player will always aim to do what is right. Noble character leads to a virtuous life which brings honor. A player of noble stature is constantly striving to achieve excellence and do what is right.
As a coach, do you promote character, integrity, virtue and substance in your players? Or do you leave these qualities unaddressed, unintentionally making way for a mindset of mediocrity, incompleteness, emptiness and vanity.
Can your program be called “Noble”?
“What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.” RWE
It is an extremely significant aspect of coaching to give your players building blocks. Mottos in which they can live by; a code. Your players must commit to being of higher character. Commit to training, honoring others, being a person of substance and being mentally strong. Be outstanding, be the best, build the inside stuff.
BE EXCELLENT.
