It is essential that the offensive portion of practices Day 1 focus on fundamentals. At Nation Ford we break our practice into the following units:

Flex period (Share Offensive and Defensive players)

Tempo (Team No-Huddle Time)
Special teams
This breakdown allows us to get everything practiced in an orderly manner. We assign roughly 15-20 minutes per period and coach on the fly. This type of structure focuses on tempo and getting the kids in shape while also covering the most ground each and every day of practice.
